فعالية مجتمعية ضمن حملة الـ16 يومًا لمناهضة العنف ضد المرأة - جرش
نظم مشروع لجان الدعم المجتمعي (لجنة جرش)، الذي ينفذه الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) وبتمويل من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR)، فعالية مجتمعية خلال حملة 16 يومًا من النشاط لمناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي. بدأ الحدث بنشاط مسيرة نسائية داخل مدينة جرش، شارك فيها 50 مشاركة (29 امرأة أردنية، و21 امرأة لاجئة سورية، وامرأة يمنية واحدة).
انطلقت المسيرة من منطقة القيروان وانتهت في مجمع محافظة جرش، مسلطة الضوء على أهمية معالجة القضايا المجتمعية وتلقي الدعم الواسع من المجتمع المحلي. بعد المسيرة، تعاون المشاركون في رسم جدارية توعوية في مجمع المحافظة. صممها فنان محترف، وحملت الجدارية رسائل قوية تؤكد على دور المرأة في المجتمع وتأثير العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي. تمت دعوة المشاركين للمساهمة في إكمال الجدارية، وتعزيز المشاركة ونشر رسالة الحملة بشكل أكبر.
كما تم عقد جلسة توعية في هيئة شباب الأردن من قبل منظمة النهضة العربية للديمقراطية والتنمية حول حقوق المرأة وكيفية تمكينها، حيث تم تقديم معلومات وموارد قيمة للمشاركين. واختتمت الفعالية بصورة جماعية أمام الجدارية، ترمز إلى الوحدة والنجاح الذي حققته الحملة في حشد الجهود المجتمعية لمكافحة العنف.
The Community Support Committees Project (Jerash Committee), implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), organized a community event during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
The event began with a women’s walk activity inside Jerash city, featuring 50 participants (29 Jordanian women, 21 Syrian refugee women, and one Yemeni refugee woman). The walk started from the Al-Qayrawan area and concluded at the Jerash Governorate Complex, highlighting the importance of addressing societal issues and receiving widespread support from the local community
After the walk, participants collaborated to paint an awareness mural at the governorate complex. Designed by a professional artist, the mural conveyed powerful messages emphasizing the role of women in society and the impact of gender-based violence. Participants were invited to contribute to completing the mural, fostering greater engagement and spreading the campaign's message further
Additionally, awareness session was conducted at The All-Jordan Youth Commission by ARDD on women's rights and how to empower them, providing valuable information and resources to the participants
The event concluded with a group photo in front of the mural, symbolizing the unity and success achieved by the campaign in mobilizing community efforts to combat violence
