لجان الدعم المجتمعي - عجلون

ضمن إطار مشروع “لجنة الدعم المجتمعي” في عجلون، الذي ينفذه الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) بتمويل من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين و بالتعاون مع مديرية السياحة و مديرية الآثار عجلون نظمت لجنة الدعم المجتمعي و نشاطًا بمناسبة يوم السياحة، حيث تم تنظيم زيارة إلى موقع مار إلياس الأثري في محافظة عجلون. رافق الوفد في الزيارة كل من مديري السياحة والآثار في عجلون، إضافة إلى ضباط ارتباط من الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي (جهد) والمفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين. تم في بداية الزيارة التعريف بلجان الدعم المجتمعي، والأنشطة والبرامج التي تنفذها بدعم من المفوضية، والتي تستهدف مختلف الفئات بما فيها الرجال، النساء، الشباب، الأطفال، وذوي الإعاقة
تمت جولة داخل الموقع للتعرف على معالمه، حيث وقف المشاركون عند “شجرة الأمنيات” التي تُعد من معالم الجذب الشهيرة، مشيرين إلى المشاريع التي تم تنفيذها لتعزيز مكانة عجلون كوجهة سياحية رئيسية، بما في ذلك مشروع التلفريك وموقع تل مار إلياس، الذي يُعتقد أنه مسقط رأس النبي إلياس عليه السلام، وشارك فيها 28 شخصًا، منهم (23 لاجئًا سوريًا و5 أردنيين) ( 26 سيدة و2 رجال).

Community Support Committees - Ajloun

As part of the "Community Support Committee" project in Ajloun, implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) with funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and in cooperation with the Directorate of Tourism and the Directorate of Antiquities of Ajloun, a visit to the archaeological site of Mar Elias was organized as part of the community activities. This visit is part of a series of ongoing collaborations aimed at enhancing community engagement, and it included the participation of local officials and representatives from JOHUD and UNHCR.
The visit to Mar Elias is one of the prominent activities aimed at promoting cultural awareness and tourism, highlighting the historical and religious significance of the site. The initiative focused on organizing a tour of the archaeological site, where participants learned about the history of the area and visited the famous "Wishing Tree." The visit also provided an opportunity for social interaction, promoting community cohesion and cultural exchange.
