بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر السعيد نفذت لجنة جرش المجتمعية بتاريخ 8 نيسان وضمن مشروع لجان الدعم المجتمعي الذي ينفذه الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) وبتمويل من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين نشاط فرحه عيد حيث ارتكز النشاط على صنع أقراص العيد تيمنا بالعادات والتقاليد الأردنية والسورية حيث اشتمل الحضور على 8 عائلات من اللاجئين والمجتمع المضيف، 8 سيّدات وأطفالهم بمختلف الفئات العمرية ابتهاجا بقدوم عيد الفطر حيث ان النشاط كان يحاكي الاجواء الخاصه بالعيد داخل المنازل والعائلات حين يجتمع الأقارب بهذه المناسبة.
فقد تشارك الجميع بسرد القصص المتعلقة بصناعة اقراص العيد ومكوناته باختلافها بين الاردنين والسورين، كما وانه بادرت السيدات في الغناء والمتعلق بمثل هذه المناسبات التي تعد وقتا هاما للفرح والابتهاج، سيما وانها أجواء ليس لها مثيل اعادت بذاكرة الجميع الى الوراء بهذه الأجواء الجميلة من بدايتها وحتى نهايتها كانت البهجة والسرور ظاهرة على وجوه العائلات.
وفي نهاية صناعة الاقراص قام المشاركين بتغليف اقراص العيد ليتم اهدائها وتوزيعها على شركاء اللجنه في محافظة جرش تقديرا من اللجنه لمساهماتهم وتعاونهم الطيب لانجاح انشطة اللجنه، حيث تم توزيع أقراص العيد على معظم الشركاء (بلدية المعراض، وحدة تمكين المرأة، مديرية الزراعه، مدرسة القابسي، مركز صحي الرازي، جمعيات ومؤسسات مجتمع مدني ) وعلاوة على ذلك تم توزيع 150 من اقراص العيد لعدد من العائلات الاردنية والسورية.
Eid Joy

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, on April 8, the Jerash Community Committee, within the Community Support Committees Project implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), implemented the Eid Joy activity. The activity focused on making Eid Cookies that reflect Jordanian and Syrian customs and traditions. The audience included 8 refugee families and the host community, 8 women and their children of various age groups, rejoicing in the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, as the activity simulated the special atmosphere of Eid inside homes and families when relatives gather on this occasion.
Everyone participated in telling stories related to the making of Eid cookies and the components, regardless of the ingredient differences. Women also took the initiative in singing on such occasions, which are an important time for joy and rejoicing, especially since it is an unparalleled atmosphere that brings back everyone’s memories of this beautiful atmosphere.
At the end of making Eid cookies, the participants wrapped Eid cookies to be given as gifts and distributed to the committee’s partners in Jerash Governorate, to show appreciation for their contributions and kind cooperation to the success of the committee’s activities. The Eid cookies were distributed to most partners (Al-Maarad Municipality, Women’s Empowerment Unit, Agriculture Directorate, Al-Qabsi School, Al-Razi Health Center, civil society associations and institutions). In addition, 150 Eid cookies were distributed to Jordanian and Syrian families.
