"Let's Walk" (Biodiversity) – Irbid

As part of the Community Support Committee Project in Irbid, implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and funded by UNHCR, in collaboration with Yarmouk Nature Reserve, this activity was a continuation of the "Let's Walk" campaign activities previously held in Umm Qais.

The event began with an introductory lecture about the reserve, its location, and the importance of biodiversity, which encompasses the diverse climates in Jordan, as well as the variety of plants, wildlife, and bird species. Continuing the "Let's Walk" campaign, participants embarked on a hiking journey inside the reserve. A specially prepared trail enabled participants to explore most of the reserve and observe its unique features.

The hike included several stops with an ecotourism specialist who provided insights into the landmarks seen, as well as detailed information about the plants, animals, and hills within and around the reserve.

The activity was attended by 20 participants of both Jordanian and Syrian nationalities, including 17 females and 3 males.
