بمناسبة يوم اللاجئ العالمي، أقامت لجان الدعم المجتمعي في إربد، وهي مشروع ينفذه الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) بتمويل من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، فعالية مجتمعية في مركز الأميرة بسمة في المنصورة - لواء بني كنانة.
وتضمنت فعاليات هذا اليوم جلسة توعوية حول حقوق أصحاب الهمم من جمعية أيرس، تلتها سلسلة من الأنشطة والمسابقات والألعاب والأنشطة الترفيهية تخللها الرسم على وجوه الأطفال وفقرة تلوين على الورق ، كما كانت هناك شخصيات كرتونية. وتم توزيع مجموعة من الهداية على الأطفال قدمت من قبل متبرع خاص. وعرض مسرحي قصير باستخدام الدمى التي صنعت يدوياً من قبل لجان الدعم المجتمعي. وحضرهذا الحدث ما مجموعه 74 شخصاً (53 لاجئاً و21 أردنياً) . ويؤكد هذا اليوم أهمية التضامن مع اللاجئين وتزويدهم بالدعم اللازم لإعادة بناء حياتهم ومرعة حاجاتهم.

On World Refugee Day, the Community Support Committees in Irbid, a project implemented by the Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) with funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), organized a community event at Princess Basma Center in Mansoura - Bani Kinanah District.
The activities of this day included an awareness session on the rights of people with disabilities by the Iris Association, followed by a series of activities, competitions, games, and entertainment activities, including face painting for children and a coloring session on paper, along with appearances by cartoon characters. A variety of gifts were distributed to the children by the private sector. There was also a short puppet show using hand-made puppets created by the Community Support Committees.
74 people attended this event (53 refugees and 21 Jordanians). This day highlights the importance of solidarity with refugees and providing them with the necessary support to rebuild their lives and meet their needs.
